Black Lives Matter

The Office of Diversity & Equity has compiled a list of anti-racism resources and support for the campus community. This list will be updated on an ongoing basis. Please see the Counseling Center website for more information on race-based trauma.

 

University News.

Counseling Center Available

The Counseling Center is continuing to support our students’ mental health from a distance. Therapy sessions are being conducted using MS Teams, and we are now providing triages and initial assessments for students who wish to begin therapy. See our website for more information on eligibility. Urgent consultations are available by phone Monday-Friday 8:30am-4pm (502-852-6585).

University Career Center

The UCC has produced eight virtual workshops in a Moving Forward in Uncertain Times series. These workshops were recorded and may be viewed here. Be on the lookout for upcoming announcements as our fall lineup of career fairs will be much different.

SRC to Re-Open Monday!

The SRC will re-open Monday, June 15 at 10:00 AM. Due to CDC and Commonwealth of Kentucky regulations many things will be different. For complete details, we encourage you to visit our webpage before making your first visit. Can't wait to see you again!

The Graduating Student Surveys

All graduating students can complete the Graduating Student Survey (GSS) through a link in their UofL email. The GSS is administered each semester and collects information about graduating students’ academic/co-curricular experiences, institutional performance, and future employment/educational plans. This information provides valuable feedback we use to improve the educational experience for our students. Open through August 7.

Play Games Online With Cardinal Gaming Club

During the ongoing social distancing initiative, Intramural Sports is partnering with the Cardinal Gaming Club to provide online gaming opportunities. Instructions for how to join their Discord server are available on the main page of our website.

Q. I am struggling with my mental health. What should I do?
A. UofL has a Counseling Center for students and is providing services remotely. It is free service for currently enrolled students. The Counseling Center is open M-F from 8am – 5pm and offers urgent consultations for crisis situations from 8:30am-4:30pm. For more information, call (502) 852-6585 or visit their website
