WinterFest

WinterFest is UofL’s way to welcome all new, transfer, and returning students to campus for the start of the spring semester. WinterFest events will take place January 7–27, view the schedule on the UofL New Cards app or at uofl.me/winterfestfun. See you there!

Garden Commons Spring Workdays Fridays 2:30pm

Join us Fridays (1/11-4/19), 2:30-3:30pm, outside the Cultural Center in UofL's organic garden & greenhouse! Learn (by doing) how to grow hyper-local, super-delicious vegetables, herbs, and fruits! Open to all! Enjoy a share in the harvest! Website

SRC Resumes Regular Hours

The Student Recreation Center resumes regular hours of operation on Monday, January 7. Those hours are:  6:30 AM to 11:00 PM Monday through Thursday. 6:30 AM to 10:00 PM Fridays, 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM Saturdays and 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM Sundays.

Call for Abstracts for the GSRRC

Call for abstracts for the annual Graduate Student Regional Research Conference (GSRRC) happening Feb 27-28, 2019 at UofL. Abstract submission open to all grad students (Master's/Doctoral) who wish to present an oral talk or poster. Deadline is Jan 18, 2019. Website.

Group Fitness Classes at SRC & HSC

Group Fitness classes will begin on Monday, January 7 at the SRC and HSC Fitness Center. Over 25 classes/ week offered on both campuses. check out our online schedule.

New Beginner Weight Lifting Class at SRC

The SRC Personal Training staff will be offering a NEW Beginner Level Weightlifting Class every Thursday from 6-7 PM in Studio 200 in the SRC. Learn progressive weightlifting techniques in a quiet, secluded atmosphere. Class begins Jan. 10. FREE class

Basketball Registrations Due

Registration for both Basketball and Graduate Basketball leagues are due Wed. Jan. 16 by 5:00 PM. To enter a team go to imleagues.com, select University of Louisville and use your UL credentials to get in the site.

Floor Hockey Entries Due

Registration for the upcoming intramural Floor Hockey leagues are due Wed. Jan. 16 by 5:00 PM. To enter a team go to imleagues.com, select University of Louisville and use your UL credentials to get in the site.

12th Annual Study Abroad Photo Contest

The Study Abroad Photo Contest opens on January 7 and will remain open until March 8! Any A&S Major or Minor may submit up to three photos that they took (no selfies!) while they were abroad in 2018! Prizes for each category will be awarded! More information on the website.
 

Free Store

Free Store New Hours: Tu-Th 11a-1p & Fri 2-5p

Now you can "shop" for FREE clothing, shoes, household items, books, school/art supplies, non-perishable food, etc. 4 days/wk in Unitas basement. Inclusive, LGBT-friendly space! Donate 24/7 in red bins outside Store. Volunteer! razija.mehinovic@louisville.edu
