Student Complaints
Students are encouraged to resolve complaints with the person or department with whom they have a dispute. However, should this approach fail or be inappropriate, students may submit written complaints through the on-line complaint form. Once received, the complaints will be forwarded to the appropriate academic area or administrative unit for review. If you have questions regarding the process, please contact Samantha MacKenzie, Student Advocate at (502) 852-5787.

Good Samaritan Consideration
The health and safety of our students is the highest priorty. At times students may need immediate medical or other professional assistance. However, students may be reluctant to get help because of concerns that their own behavior may be a violation of the Code of Student Conduct. To minimize any hesitation students and/or student organizations may have in obtaining help due to these concerns, the university has enacted the following “good samaritan” provision. Although policy violations cannot be overlooked, the university will consider the positive impact of reporting an incident when determining the appropriate response for policy violations. For more information about the Good Samaritan Consideration, see the Code of Student
Conduct, section 15

Lock Your Bicycle Securely
Always lock your bicycle when it’s not in use with a heavy duty chain and lock system, preferably a U-Lock. It is also a good idea to remove the seat as an extra precaution against theft. Write down (and keep handy) the serial numbers, make/model, and take a picture of your bicycle which will assist ULPD in the possible recovery of your bike, in the event it is stolen.
