Speed Cinema Dolores Screening

Speed Cinema premiers the film, DOLORES with a FREE January 5 screening thanks to the ACLU-KY. With a reception starting at 6pm and the film starting at 7pm. Post-screening discussion includes an appearance by Dolores Huerta, Jesus Ibañez and Sarah Nunez. More info.

Maple Tapping Workshop 1/12

Join us Friday 1/12 at 1pm at the Cultural Center Garden Commons to learn how to tap trees to make maple syrup. Attendees will get to help install taps on campus trees & you can sign-up to volunteer to empty buckets in the coming weeks. Dress warmly! Pancake party TBA.

Interest Meetings for Women Student Veterans

UofL women student veterans are invited to participate in an on-campus Women's Veterans Support Group for all branches of the military; active duty, reserves or national guard. Meetings will take place, Jan. 16 (10 a.m.); Jan. 18 (3 p.m.) and Jan. 24 (12 p.m.).

UofL Free Store Spring Hours: Mon/Wed 11-1:30

Group Fitness Classes Begin January 8

Group X Classes begin January 8 at the SRC and HSC Fitness Center. All classes are free for students and members of the SRC. Yoga, Zumba, Cycling, Quick-Fit, HipHop Cardio and Step formats offered. Complete schedule online.

Entries for Basketball, Graduate Basketball and Floor Hockey are due by January 16. Go to imleagues.com and select UofL. Your UofL credentials will get you in the site.

Mini-Marathon Training Program

Join the IM & Rec Sports Dept. for a mini-marathon training program. Runs will be every Wed. at 5pm and Sunday at 1pm. Meet at the SRC. Distances will range from 3-12 miles. Dean Mardis will join us on the 1st day, Wednesday, January 24. Mini-marathon race is April 28.
