Men's Lacrosse Club Saturday Matches

The Men's Lacrosse Club will host Ball St. and Miami of Ohio Saturday at King Louie's Sports Complex. They will face Ball St. at 12:00pm and Miami at 4:00pm, with the two visiting schools playing in-between. Tickets are $5.00 and are available at the door. Twitter.

Human Trafficking Awareness Conference

The 8th Annual Human Trafficking Awareness Conference will be held from 5:30pm to 8:30pm Feb. 22 in the Miller Information Technology Center’s Bigelow Hall. Doors open at 5:30pm with the program beginning at 6pm. Resource fair and refreshments 5:30-6pm. RSVP to reserve a seat.

University-wide Initiative Provides Free Personal Hygiene Products

In response to student requests, the university has launched an initiative to provide free women’s personal hygiene products on each of its campuses. The Office of the Chief Operating Officer and Student Government Association have purchased and installed 26 personal hygiene dispensers that will provide free tampons and pads in case of emergency. The Women’s Center and American Association of University Women at UofL provide stocked baskets at several other locations. More details, including a map of distribution points, visit the website

Focus Group Participants Needed

20-25 student participants are needed for focus groups as part of a university-wide market research initiative March 5-6. More information and a survey for interested students is available. Free food will be provided. Students must fill out the survey by Tuesday, Feb. 20 to be considered. Those selected will be notified by Feb. 23. There are two sessions available: Monday, March 5, 5:30 p.m., and Tuesday, March 6, 12:15 p.m.
