Pancake Breakfast – American Heart Association

Come enjoy a pancake breakfast on Tuesday, September 5, 7:30-9:30am in Bigelow Hall Miller Information Technology Center. All proceeds go to American Heart Association. Cost is $5 minimum donation. We accept cash and venmo at the door. Raffles also available.

Learn Origami

LGBTQ+ Writing Group

The Writing Center invites UofL creative writers to join our LGBTQ+ Writing Group. During meetings, we practice writing in a safe, supportive space and respond to fellow writers. The first meeting is Sept. 6 at 6 pm, Ekstrom Library 132 (Writing Center). Facebook page.

Mindfulness for Roommates Workshop

Freshman and sophomores at UofL are invited to join a FREE Mindfulness for Roommates Workshop. Sign up with your roommate for our next 4-week workshop beginning on Thursday 9/14, 3-4:15pm in Lutz Hall 320. Sign up. Participation in the study includes free earbuds, a free bluetooth speaker, gift cards and SONA credits for roommates who participate.

Cards SPEAK

Have you ever been concerned about a friend in crisis and not sure what to say to help them? Kognito At Risk is an online suicide prevention training program available for the UofL community. Kognito uses an interactive and visual format allowing students to practice conversation skills in a safe environment. This training helps students promote mental health and prevent suicide. Anyone can complete the program 24/7. Learn more and complete the training.

University Student Conduct Hearing Council

The University Student Conduct Hearing Council provides an opportunity for students to serve the university community, develop life-long skills in facilitating and resolving conflicts, critical thinking, assertiveness, empathic listening, moral and ethical decision making, and promote civility and citizenship within the UofL community. Are you interested in serving on this council? If so, fill out the application, due Monday, September 11, 2017 by midnight.
