Ice Hockey Club Faces Cincinnati Tonight

The Ice Hockey Club will take on rival Cincinnati tonight, November 3, at Iceland Arena. First puck drops at 8:00pm. Tickets for UofL students are only $5.00 with student ID. Come support the IceCards as they host the Bearcats in TSCHL hockey action!

Be The Match Bone Marrow Registry Drive

Louisville's Love Your Melon crew is teaming up with Be the Match to host a bone marrow registry drive! On November 7 from 11am-2pm, you can find us at a table in the SAC. It only requires a mouth swab and some paperwork for you to potentially save a life! Website.

UofL to expand need-based aid in 2018

UofL is expanding its need-based aid program to help students who struggle to meet the cost of attending college. Beginning in fall 2018, UofL will add $1.5 million in need-based aid for incoming freshmen. The funding will be used to address unmet need, or the amount between financial aid already received and the actual cost of attendance. Funding will be redirected from the Credit 4 Credits program. Fencing Club In The SRC

The Fencing Club offers high-level instruction in all disciplines of the sport. Educational sessions are conducted in supervised, structured, and safe conditions. Practices are held on Monday and Wednesday evenings, and Saturday mornings in the SRC.

Q. I had a stressful time with a bad roommate this semester. What can I do to avoid this problem in the future?
A. Roommates can be stressful. Start by speaking with your Resident Assistant Leader or emailing uoloch@louisville.edu are important steps when having roommate challenges. There are many resources available including mediation, roommate agreements, conflict coaching, etc. Ultimately if a resolution is not reached, you may request a room change.
