1. Alcohol Policy for Recognized Student Organizations and Councils

The University prohibits possession or use of alcoholic beverages by individuals less than 21 years of age and explicitly counsels only low-risk use.

2. 2016 Clery Report

The Annual Security and Fire Report in compliance with the Clery Act will be  available online October 1. The report provides the crime and fire statistics for all UofL campuses as well as security policies as prescribed within the Clery Act. It may viewed at louisville.edu/police/clery-crime-reports

3. SRC Fall Break Hours

The Student Recreation Center will operate under a modified schedule during Fall Break. Saturday the center will be open 11 AM to 5 PM. Sunday 1 PM to 7 PM and Monday/Tuesday from 8 AM to 10 PM. Regular hours of operation will resume Wednesday morning at 6:00. louisville.edu/intramurals
 

4. Belize and Croatia: ISLP

5. SciFinder Training

6. Two Ice Hockey Matches This Weekend

There are two chances to see the Ice Hockey Club in action this weekend at Iceland Arena...Saturday, October 1, 2:30pm vs Wright St. and Sunday, October 2, 10:30am vs UMBC. Admission is $5.00 w/Student ID.  cardsicehockey.com

7. Cookout for CLEP Wed, Oct 5 @ Red Barn

8. UofL Uncensored

9. Garden Commons Herb Workshop & Workday

Think herbs are just tasteless, dry flakes? Find out what you've been missing! Join us Friday 10/7 at 2pm in UofL's organic garden at the Cultural Center to learn how to use & dry the herbs we'll harvest from the garden, while sampling fresh herbal tea, and caprise salad!  louisville.edu/sustainability/operations/garden-commons

10. Crowns and Gowns

SAB (Student Activities Board) along with African American Male Initiative and Black Diamond Choir will be hosting Crowns and Gowns to reveal the Top 5 candidates for Homecoming King & Queen! A. The Dean of Students Office offers the Bornwasser Student Emergency Fund which assists UofL students who encounter unforeseen financial emergency or catastrophic events which would otherwise prevent them from continuing their education at UofL. TIPS FOR CYCLISTS:

  • Always ride with the flow of traffic.
  • Ride at least three feet from parked cars.
  • Yield to traffic before entering or crossing a roadway.
  • Yield to overtaking traffic before moving across one or more lanes.
