Ice Hockey Club Hosts Ohio State This Weekend

The Ice Hockey Club will face Ohio State University this weekend at Iceland Arena. First puck is 8pm Friday and 3pm Saturday. Tickets are $7.00 with student ID and are available at the door. Dress warm and pack the stands as the IceCards take on the Buckeyes.

Graduate Student Council hosts its annual Research Conference Feb. 27 on HSC Campus and Feb. 28 on Belknap Campus. Abstract submissions for oral and poster presentations are due Feb. 1. Keynote Speakers are global health advocates Diana Klatt & Susanna Park. Website.

SRC Closed Monday

The Student Recreation Center will be closed Monday, January 20 in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. We will re-open Tuesday morning at 6:30 AM. The center will be open regular hours on Saturday and Sunday.

HSC Fitness Center Closed Monday

The HSC Fitness Center will be closed Monday, January 20 in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. The center will re-open Tuesday morning at 6:00 AM. We hope you will engage in some form of service and make it a "day on" rather than a day off.

Student Complaints

Students are encouraged to resolve complaints with the person or department with whom they have a dispute. However, should this approach fail or be inappropriate, students may submit written complaints through the on-line complaint form. Once received, the complaints will be forwarded to the appropriate academic area or administrative unit for review. If you have questions regarding the process, please contact Samantha MacKenzie, Student Advocate at (502) 852-5787.

Living Away from Home for the First Time?

Feeling the freedom, or already homesick? Make sure you get involved in campus activities. It’s a way to build new friendships that may just fill that void if you miss your family. If you are experiencing overwhelming sadness being away from home, please do not hesitate to contact the Counseling Center at 852-6585. If you’re not sure how to get the help you may need, contact the Dean of Students Office at 852-5787 or dos@louisville.edu.

Applications Due February 10 for University Student Conduct Hearing Council

The Hearing Council provides an opportunity for students to serve the University community, develop life-long skills in facilitating and resolving conflicts, critical thinking, assertiveness, empathic listening, moral and ethical decision making, and promote civility and citizenship within the UofL community. Are you interested in serving on the University Student Conduct Hearing Council? If so, fill out the online application due February 10, 2020 at midnight.
