Gun Prevention Kickoff

Join SAB and UofL School of Medicine for the Gun Prevention Kickoff event on Monday, Feb. 17, from 11 am–1 pm at Kornhauser. Free food will be provided.

The Future of US Healthcare

UofL College of Business Dean Todd Mooradian, PhD, will moderate a panel featuring Thomas P. Miller, a health care policy expert at American Enterprise Institute, and Ed Weisbart, chair of the Missouri chapter of Physicians for a National Health Program. Join SAB and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. for an event discussing cultural differences between African native and African American communities on Thursday, Feb. 20, from 6–8 pm in Humanities Room 100. This is a safe space and all will be respected! Free food will be provided.

Tips and Advice to Avoid Being Scammed

College students are a vulnerable population for scammers. There are scams that have been created specifically to target the college population. Scammers want you to make decisions in a hurry. Before you give up your money or personal information to anyone, slow down, check out the story, do an online search, consult an expert, or discuss it with a family member or friend. For additional information on how to avoid being victimized by scams, go to the Student Handbook and read Scams, Advice, and Tips.

SRC Snow Days Schedule

In the event the University is closed due to a snow day, the Student Recreation Center will be open on a modified schedule of 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM so people on & close to campus have some activity options. We urge you to please use sound judgement in all travel decisions.

Its Challenge Week #3 at the SRC on Tuesday, February 18. Stop by the SRC any time from 6:45 am–10:30 pm and see how many Tricep Dips you can do. The male and female participant who can do the most dips wins an Adidas Duffel bag.
