1. LGBT Center Invites Community to March in Pride Parade

The LGBT Center invites the UofL community to march in the Kentuckiana Pride Parade tonight, Friday, June 17, and to demonstrate the university’s commitment to inclusion and support.  Meet the LGBT Center staff at the corner of Floyd and Market Streets at 6 p.m. The parade begins at 7 p.m. at Floyd and Market streets and concludes at 9 p.m. at the Belvedere on Main Street. Wear your UofL pride shirt or any other UofL gear to make sure the university’s presence and support is felt by all.

2. TARC Summer Detours Due to Floyd St Closure

Belknap bus detours are in effect until Aug. 1st for TARC Route 94 (Cardinal Shuttle) & Route 18 (HSC/downtown, Dixie Hwy, Preston Hwy, Okolona, Jefferson Mall & UPS Worldport). Catch Route 18 for free along Cardinal Blvd, 3rd St, Eastern Pkwy, or Warnock Ave.  http://ridetarc.org/BrandeisAveDetour

3. SAC Renovation and Addition

The SAC renovation is getting underway. Construction has begun on the SAC east first floor. The east entryway will remain open as the renovations continue. 4. M.A.G.S. Summer Planning Retreat

Join MAGS for bonding and planning for 2016 -2017 academic year on Sunday 6/26 1-6pm and/or 6/27 from 10-2:30pm. 5. Flood Relief for Sri Lanka

6. SRC Summer Memberships

Not taking classes in the summer but did in the spring or will in the fall? You can still use the SRC with a summer membership. Cost is $49 for the entire summer pro-rated to $25 on July 5. Stop by the SRC 8 AM to 5 PM weekdays to get your summer membership! https://louisville.edu/intramurals

7. Group Fitness Classes at SRC

8. Volunteers Needed for Dissertation Study

Healthy female volunteers, ages 18-40, are needed for a study on stress, emotion and the immune system. No chronic conditions or medication (birth control OK). Single 2 hour visit on Belknap campus.
