December 2024 Graduates
Join us in congratulating the 63 public health graduates who received degrees or certificates on December 13, 2024. This list includes students who completed their degree/program requirements in Summer and Fall 2024.
Awards and Honors
Melissa Johnson will be the SPHIS Banner Bearer, and was selected as student speaker at the December 2024 Commencement. The Outstanding Student Award was presented to Rebecca Roberson in recognition of her hard work and dedication. The SPHIS Dean’s Awards went to three exceptional scholars: Shaminul Shakib (Doctoral), JulieAnn Mottern (Master’s), and Allison Redden (Bachelor). In addition to receiving the Dean’s Award, Allison Redden was also recognized as the University Undergraduate Honor’s Scholar. Additionally, both Allison Redden and Rebecca Roberson are graduating Summa Cum Laude, earning the distinction of Highest Honors—a testament to their incredible academic achievements.
