Member Updates
DHL, a leading logistics company, is the newest member of the Center for Health Organization Transformation (CHOT) at the University of Louisville. CHOT researchers will explore existing wellness programs at two DHL locations with the goal of increasing employee engagement in the programs.
The CHOT team is also excited to continue their work with renewing members Passport Health Plan by Molina Healthcare and UofL Hospital. With annual memberships, these organizations are part of a national Industry Advisory Board where they are able to design and collaborate on research projects designed to meet today’s healthcare challenges.
New publication with CHOT partner, The Humana Foundation
The results of CHOT’s partnership with The Humana Foundation are presented in the article, “Advancing Social Determinants of Health through Investments in Postsecondary Attainment and Sustaining Employment,” published in the September 2020 issue of The Foundation Review. Melissa Eggen, MPH, CHOT program manager, J’Aime Jennings, PhD, CHOT co-director, and Molly O’Keefe, MSHA, SPHIS alumna, wrote the manuscript with Brandy N. Kelly Pryor, PhD, and Leslie Clements, MS, from The Humana Foundation. The article summarizes The Humana Foundation’s strategy to address postsecondary attainment and sustaining employment and discusses how CHOT research supported the development of the strategy.
