Brian Guinn named "Top Three" Faculty Favorite at UofL

Congratulations to Brian Guinn, PhD, MPH, Assistant Professor in the Department of Epidemiology and Population Health, who was named a "Top Three" Faculty Favorite for 2021-2022 by the Delphi Center for Teaching and Learning. The university established the Faculty Favorite as a way for students to recognize the faculty, staff, and teaching assistants who make a difference in their learning. The “Top” Faculty Favorite designation goes to those who receive the most nominations.

Dean Craig Blakely observed that Dr. Guinn has been an excellent addition to the SPHIS faculty. He added, “Not only is heBrian Guinn headshot keeping a watch on our MPH program, he is personally taking instruction to another level. We are fortunate to have him on our team espousing the virtues of public health.”

Dr. Blakely encourages everyone to watch the video of Brian Guinn and his students produced by the Delphi Center. Dr. Guinn expressed how surprised he was to receive this honor. He said,Their kind words validate my commitment towards teaching and mentoring. Honestly, the students deserve all the credit. They make this university a special place and I am very fortunate to be a part of their academic journey.”
