Baked Apples
Ingredients: (for 1 apple)
- 1 medium green apple
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 1 Tbsp. brown sugar
- Cinnamon
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- Using a small knife, paring knife or apple corer, cut around the core, but not all the way through. You want to create a small “bowl” in the middle of the apple for the ingredients.
- In the “apple bowl,” pack in your brown sugar and butter.
- Place apple on baking sheet and sprinkle with cinnamon.
- Bake for 15 min.
- Serve in a bowl due to the butter running. Serve as is or cut into slices.
*You can get creative with the recipe! Use any apple variety. Top with nuts, honey, whipped cream and/or granola.
