Angela Champion Sprowl is the Senior Director of Development for the UofL School of Public Health & Information Sciences and the School of Nursing. She leads the planning and executing of annual and long-term strategic operational goals by implementing a comprehensive philanthropic program for the School. Her career includes accomplishments in non-profit development, advocacy and lobbying, grant writing, strategic partnerships, program development, volunteer management, event planning, communications, and board development. She has volunteered on numerous boards and served on a host of committees including Young Professionals of Louisville, Junior League of Louisville, Kentucky Voices for Health, Give 502, and AFP Greater Louisville Chapter.  Angela earned a BA in Anthropology with Honors and Master of Public Administration from University of Louisville. She completed a fellowship in Public Health Leadership at the University of Kentucky and won the Balderson Leadership Project Award from the National Public Health Leadership Development Network. She was a 2010 WLKY Bell Award Honored Volunteer and an AFP Chamberlain Scholar in 2015.
