Medication Education Program
The Medication Education Program is a free summer enrichment educational program offered to students and teachers in grades 5-12. The program will consist of short educational modules and materials for students to explore medication literacy concepts. Students will focus on the Medication Literacy Checklist to empower the use of medications effectively and safely. It addresses the questions we should have when taking medications, i.e., Why, What, When, Adverse Reaction, Monitoring, and Interactions. Upon completion of the modules, students will receive a certificate of achievement for their portfolio or resume.
The program runs 06/01/21 - 07/31/21.
