"Developments in statistical application and methodology resulting from scientific collaborations"

Research in statistical methods and application is often the result of collaborative efforts with scientists from disciplines other than statistics.  Collaborative efforts will be discussed:  inferring protein-protein interactions in proteomics research, the consideration of main effects in the presence of interaction in factorial designs, and challenges associated with ‘streaming’ data.    Developments, results, and opportunities for future research resulting from these studies will be explored.
