Ki-Hwan G. Bae

Assistant Professor, Industrial Engineering


Dr. Bae is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Industrial Engineering, Speed School of Engineering. While working for his Ph.D. in Operations Research from Industrial and Systems Engineering at Virginia Tech, Dr. Bae was involved in research on air transportation sponsored by NASA, FAA, and NSF. Prior to that, he studied at Purdue University focusing on simulation and received his master’s degree in Industrial Engineering. Before coming to University of Louisville in 2013, Dr. Bae had experience of working as a business strategy analyst in the telecommunication industry.
