Tesham Gor, Professional Award in Industrial EngineeringTesham Gor works as Vice President & General Manager of Performance Coatings Division for Lubrizol Corporation, a subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway. Tesh has over 15 years of diverse work experience in areas of operations, finance, commercial & general management and strategic planning. His extensive international work experience includes expatriate assignments in Netherlands, Germany, Malaysia and Hong Kong. Currently he is heading a global business unit with complete P&L responsibilities for Lubrizol Corporation. Prior to joining Lubrizol, Tesham worked for Hoogovens Hille Muller, Corus Group in areas of process improvement & business process reengineering.

Tesham has worked in the specialty metals and chemical industries serving electronics, batteries, food, pharmaceuticals, personal care, automotive and performance coatings end markets. As part of his work responsibilities, he has built high-performing international teams, demonstrated growth via innovation, successful acquisitions and divestitures, asset investments in Asia, developed alliances and joint ventures, negotiated multiyear contracts with major OEMs and protected a business from economic espionage that resulted in successful trial & conviction by the Department of Justice.

In 1995, he earned a graduate degree in Industrial Engineering from University of Louisville and later earned an executive MBA from Case Western Reserve University. During his doctoral studies, he was awarded AIEJ (American Education in Japan) scholarship and was based in Toyohashi, Japan where he conducted his dissertation research work. Tesh has published & presented at the Winter Simulation Conference, Industrial Engineering Research Conference & INFORMS.

Tesham resides in Cleveland, Ohio with his wife who is a physician; volunteers for United Way and enjoys visiting National Parks.
