Ergonomics Laboratory

The Center for Ergonomics Laboratory, located in Lutz Hall 303, is used as a research lab for human factors engineering, an instructional laboratory for human factors and ergonomics courses such as IE 580, and is the key facility of the Center for Ergonomics.  The facility is 848 square feet, including a 134 square foot environmental control and isolation chamber.  The Center houses a variety of equipment for use in human factors and ergonomics research and instruction, including a cerebral oximeter, electro goniometers, ergo fet, grip dynamometer, light meter,  lumbar motion meter (LMM), noise dosimeter, surface electromyography (SEMG).
