Military Civil Engineers Give Back to Baltic Allies

As a part of a push to establish good relations between the US military and Baltic countries, a contingent of troops from the 133rd and 148th Civil Engineering squadrons and the 219th RED HORSE squadron worked with Croatian troops to renovate and provide supplies for an elementary school in Ogulin, Croatia. The troops arrived with supplies from school closures in Germany and the U.S., as well as supplies donated through various organizations. The much-needed furniture and repair work were a part of the Humanitarian Civic Assistance Program conducted by the U.S. overseas. The partnership between the US and Croatian militaries will hopefully be the crux of good relationships between the two countries and promote peace and goodwill in that region of the world.
