CONSORTIUM FUNDING OPPORTUNITY - 2020 CALL FOR
The Consortium is pleased to offer 2020 funding to
transdisciplinary social justice research (TDR) teams
led by UofL faculty. The Consortium is offering
mini-grants and student funding for the initiation or
completion of transdisciplinary social justice
research or creative activity project that is
community-engaged. Available funds are more limited
than in the first three-year cycle, as the Consortium
is now sustained by continued support from deans,
departments, and other UofL offices (such as the HSC
Office of Diversity and others).
2019 STATE OF METROPOLITAN HOUSING REPORT RELEASED
12.04.2019 The Consortium research team “Housing
Justice in Louisville and Beyond” has helped to
publish the 2019 State of Metropolitan Housing Report,
subtitled “22,000 Equities: Addressing Racial Gaps in
Homeownership and Wealth.
WRITING SOCIAL JUSTICE WORKSHOP

Workshop learned how to be citizen journalists with
editors from the Progressive Media Project, and to use
their voices and research to create change in their
