Medical Editing

CTU provides medical and scientific editing and proofreading of manuscripts, book chapters, reviews, grant applications, and reports for researchers, faculty, and other health care professionals.

We understand that manuscripts intended for review by your peers are judged not only by the quality of the research they contain — but also by how well they are written and how easily the reader can understand them. When investigators do not have the time for the intensive editing that medical writing demands, if English is not their first language, or if they have personnel in their laboratory who have not yet acquired the writing expertise to publish in peer-reviewed journals — then our service will benefit them. Our medical editor can help at any stage of the writing process, including reference verification, fact checking, and formatting text and references for a particular publication. We can also help with the journal submission process, which has become quite complicated since most journals now require electronic submission.
