Research Participants

Research Scientists at the University of Louisville are doing groundbreaking research on an array of diseases.  The Clinical Trials Unit (CTU) collaborates with UofL scientists and work together to promote patient and public involvement in research and to raise public awareness of clinical research. The CTU at the University of Louisville and its affiliated institutions offer patients access to a wide variety of clinical trials covering a broad range of disease conditions and areas. Some of the on-going clinical trials are testing new drugs, medical devices, or new ways of managing diseases. While others are studying new ways to prevent, diagnose, improve quality of life, or effects of environmental pollution. At the University of Louisville, currently, hundreds of clinical trials are on-going.
