Effective January 1, 2015, the Clinical Contracts Division (CCD) and the Office of Industry Engagement (OIE)—formerly combined as the Office of Industry Contracts or OIC—will retire the use of the “OIC” prefixes when creating new sponsored projects in PeopleSoft. CCD and OIE will transition to the use of the following prefixes at that time:

However, pending proposals funded after the start of the new year and projects for which a new account/chartfield must be established will be converted to the new nomenclature.

Please note that no changes will be made to the naming convention used in the Office of Sponsored Programs Administration (SPA), and SPA will continue to use the prefixes OGMB, OGMN, OGMP and IOGM.

If you have any questions about these changes, please contact the Clinical Contracts Division at clincon@louisville.edu, 852.8359 or the Office of Industry Engagement at engage@louisville.edu, 852.7253.
