All major interstate highways coming into Louisville intersect with I-65 at some point. Following are directions to the Visitor and Information Center at the North Entrance to the University of Louisville Belknap Campus.

Coming from north of Louisville, you will need to be on I-65 going south. As soon as you cross the bridge over the Ohio River, or connect with I-65 from I-71 south or I-64 going east or west, you will see the first exit on your right, the Jefferson Street exit. Pass that exit and the next one, the Catherine Street exit. Take the third exit, going south on Arthur Street. Follow Arthur Street to a stop sign at Brandeis/Cardinal Boulevard. You will see the U of L softball field across the street from you. Turn right onto Brandeis/Cardinal Boulevard. Continue on that street through 2 stoplights. After the second light, immediately make a left turn at the North Entrance to U of L. There is a large sign at the entrance. Continue one block to a dead end. Immediately across from you is the Visitor and Information Center and parking lot. Proceed to the visitor's center and follow instructions in the "Parking" section below.

Coming from south of Louisville, follow I-65N as if you are going to the downtown area or toward Indianapolis. Take exit 133A, on Eastern Parkway. Parking

When you pull up to the window of the Visitor's Center tell them you have a parking reservation to see Dr. Mervis. The attendant will give you a campus map and parking information. This lot is typically open every day, including Saturday and Sunday, although the Visitor's Center is closed on weekends. If the Visitor's Center is closed and the gate does not open, there is free parking in the lot next to the Music School (#83 on the campus map) which is always open on Saturdays and Sundays.
