I’m not sure which is more exciting — the end of school and spring commencement or the start of the fall semester and the energy of our incoming freshman class. Both are important times in the life of the University, and this year promises to be the best ever. Announcements

Year of the cardinals videoFootball Season Kicks Off Sunday. The Cards take on the Ohio University Bobcats at Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium. If you’re coming to the game, visit us at Alumni Tailgate Central from 1 p.m. (located at Street Fest). Can’t make it to the game? Click here to find game watch locations in your area!

Iroquois Amphitheater: UofL Dance Theatre
7 p.m. Saturday, August 31
UofL Dance Theatre will take the stage for a night of drama and dance at Iroquois park. An alumni networking reception will begin at 7 p.m. and include a cash bar. Reserved seating tickets will be issued at the UofL Networking reception 45 minutes prior to show. Learn more.

UofL Night at Dracula
Sunday, October 29
Save the date for the 2013 UofL Night at Dracula at Actor’s Theater. Discount reserved seating available to alumni for $40 each. Learn more.

River City Cruise

Cruise the Ohio River on the CQ Princess with fellow UofL alumni and friends. This two hour river tour features a presentation by Dr. Tom Owen titled “Everybody’s Gotta Be from Somewhere: Brief Histories of Metro Louisville Neighborhoods.” Register here before September 26.

Bourbon Tour
Saturday, October 12
