Retirement/Graduation Party
Dr. Thomas Maloney regales the audience
On April 29, the Philosophy Department held our first big celebration since Covid descended. We celebrated the combined 145 years of service contributed by our four covid-era retirees -- Tom Maloney, D.A. Masolo, Andrea Reed, and Cindy Saling -- and we also said goodbye to the supercharged class of '22 in both the Philosophy BA and the Health Care Ethics MA. The event also raised over $2000 for the Maloney Scholarship, a need-based initiative that helps Kentucky-resident Philosophy majors with demonstrated financial need, enabling them to stay in school and persist to graduation.
