Access to Virtual Technology
and a Social Skills Enhancement Intervention

This study is open to older adults who lived with a chronic illness during the pandemic.

Purpose

The purpose of this research is to test the feasibility of a virtually accessed Social Skills Enhancement Intervention to increase understanding of how to help Older Adults with Chronic Illness re-emerge from the COVID pandemic.

Time Commitment

  1. Consent process and determination of eligibility to continue participating beyond initial questionnaire items.
  2. Pretest and posttest will take approximately 1 hour each.
  3. Social Skills training will occur in 2 meetings of 2 hours each. Total: 4 Hrs.
  4. Posttest will follow 1 month after the intervention.

All meeting times will be virtual and determined by the participant as most convenient.
