Nine University of Louisville undergraduate nursing students recently returned from a nearly two-week study abroad trip to Scotland, which included touring four health care facilities in urban and rural settings where they interacted with physicians, nurses and midwives.

The students also toured the Royal College of Nursing and a University of Glasgow learning center for nursing students, where they were hosted for lunch by faculty, students and the director of the University of Glasgow nursing program. The trip was led by UofL School of Nursing Professor M. Cynthia Logsdon, Ph.D., W.H.N.P.-B.C., F.A.A.N.
