Music Therapy Day
Music Therapy College and Career Day: Friday, October 16th
9am-1pm Music Therapy Classes *optional
Students are invited to sit in music therapy classes to gain a better understanding of the field of music therapy and the educational opportunities at UofL.
9am: Clinical Applications in Music Therapy 2 is a sophomore level course designed to teach students vocal technique for singing with stylistic differences for various music genres.
10am: Clinical Applications in Music Therapy 4 is a junior level course designed to teach advanced guitar skills commonly used by clinical music therapists.
11am: Intro to Music Therapy class gives an in depth look into what it means to be a clinical music therapist.
12pm: Lunch Break, on your own (The 'Ville Grille and Cardinal Towne offer many eating options within walking distance)
1pm-4pm College and Career Day Presentations
1pm-2pm: Music Therapy Clinic Overview with Client Video Examples
2pm-3pm: Music therapy curriculum and learning opportunities at UofL
3pm-4pm: UofL music therapy student panel
4pm-5pm: Career opportunities in music therapy
