Criteria for Outstanding Scholarship, Research, and Creative Activity Awards

Nominations

Completion of information requested in Microsoft FORMS and a current CV is all that is needed.  However, please note 1.) the more detailed the information entered into the form, the more information the review teams have to make their decision for the recipient of the award. 2.) you will need to specify the category for which the nominee is being nominated. Self-nomination is not allowed.

Criteria

Basic and Applied Sciences

Nominees must have been a full-time employee of the University of Louisville and have been employed by UL for 5 years immediately preceding receipt of the award. Additionally, Nominee must show evidence of excellence in scholarship, creative activity, or research.  No person may receive more than one award within a five-year period. The recipients of the awards should be selected on basis of exceptional scholarship, creative work and/or research recognized nationally and/or internationally.

Career Achievement

Nominees require an academic career of 15 years or greater, with the preceding five years of residence at the University of Louisville.  No person may receive more than one career achievement award from the University of Louisville during their career.  The recipients of the awards should be selected on basis of exceptional scholarship, creative work and/or research recognized nationally and/or internationally.
