Adrienne Jordan, M.D. is the Medical Director of Special Procedures Lab and Associate Thread Director of Medical School Curriculum.  She is board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology and a graduate of Northeast Ohio Medical University.  Dr. Jordan completed her residency in Mount Sinai Medical Center, New York, NY and Dermatopathology fellowship at Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center, Hershey, PA.  

Dr. Jordan comes to the University after serving as the assistant laboratory director at New York Eye & Ear Infirmary of Mount Sinai, specializing in Dermatopathology and head and neck pathology. Dr. Jordan also has additional experience and interest in regulatory and compliance requirements, having successfully prepared for and completed numerous credentialing and accreditation inspections to include the College of American Pathologists and the Joint Commission.

Dr. Jordan serves on national committees, including the Social Media Committee for the American Society of Dermatopathology. She is involved in numerous projects to advance the use of social media in patient care and medical education.

Dr. Jordan's research interests reflect her wide range of expertise. She has several publications ranging from infectious disease of the skin, uveal melanoma, and head and neck tumors. She has written several book chapters and lectured at national meetings.
