Dr. Mariko Kubinec is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Neurological Surgery in the Division of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) and serves as the Associate Program Director for the University of Louisville PM&R Residency Program. She practices general physiatry and teaches residents at Robley Rex VA Medical Center.

Prior to graduating residency at University of Louisville/Frazier Rehabilitation Institute, she completed her Internal Medicine intern year at University of Louisville.  She graduated from Long School of Medicine at UT Health San Antonio and has a B.A. in Theology from Wheaton College. She is board certified by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.

Her clinical interests include spasticity management, electrodiagnostic studies, non-operative musculoskeletal care and geriatric rehab.
