Philanthropy

The University of Louisville Department of Emergency Medicine (EM) has prided itself for over 5 decades on the development of outstanding Emergency Medicine Physicians of the future. Aligned to the UofL School of Medicine’s mission, we aim to improve the health and vitality of our community by training our physicians to provide evidence based, timely, and compassionate emergency care, pursue research that transforms clinical practice, and cultivate an environment striving for inclusive excellence.

Philanthropic gifts to the Department of EM allow us to pursue opportunities to enrich numerous aspects of our program. Over the last 50 + years, our Residency Program has trained over 400 residents that have become leaders and successful physicians worldwide.
