The University of Louisville is proud to present its Second Annual Louisville Regional Stroke Symposium, a multidisciplinary forum on evaluation and management of cerebrovascular disease. Local and internationally known experts will lead a program focused on the latest information in stroke care including the 2018 Guidelines for the Early Management of Patients with Acute Ischemic Stroke, Stroke Recovery, Cryptogenic Stroke Assessment and Cardioembolic Stroke.

Learning Objectives

As a result of participating in this activity, participants should be able to:

1. Utilize 2018 Guidelines for the Early Management of Patients with Acute Ischemic Stroke.
2. Use best practice guidelines in recovery from stroke.
3. Evaluate patients with cryptogenic stroke to improve their practice and patient outcomes.
4. Identify the various investigations and their rationale in the evaluation of a patient with cardio embolic stroke.
