Course Description and Target Audience
This sixth annual Advances in Neurology conference is designed to address the need for healthcare professionals to be kept up-to-date on the latest advances in the field of neurology, which should lead to increased competence, improved performance and better patient outcomes. The symposium will present the latest updates in the field of neurology involving Headache, Epilepsy, Multiple Sclerosis and Movement Disorders.

Target Audience
The target audience for this seminar is neurologists, nurse practitioners, nurses, psychologists, physician assistants and all other healthcare professionals interested in the topics presented.

Learning Objectives:

As a result of participating in this activity, participants should be able to:

1. Diagnose and treat multiple sclerosis using the appropriate disease-modifying therapy to improve patient outcomes.
2. Utilize the various options for treatment of refractory epilepsy to improve patient outcomes.
3. Identify the indications for Deep Brain Stimulation in Parkinson’s disease to improve patient outcomes.
4. Apply new acute and preventive treatment of migraine headache to improve patient outcomes.
