Koru Mindfulness Teacher Certification Training - August 26-28 2016
Nationwide, institutions of higher education are documenting increased levels of distress among our student populations. Within these settings, demand for wellness and counseling services often outstrips current capacity to provide such services on an individual basis. The Koru Mindfulness Program, an evidence-based program developed at Duke University with the goal of reaching a greater number of emerging adults to assist them with resilience-building skills. Koru teaches mindfulness and meditation skills within a group setting and is developed to address the unique stage of emerging adulthood.
