Jasmyne Post, of Philpot, Ky., is a member of the McConnell Scholar Class of 2021 at the University of Louisville, where she studies English and political science. She is a member of the Harlan Scholars Program.

Jasmyne is a 2017 graduate of Daviess County High School, where she was a four-year member of the two-time national champion quick recall team. During her junior year, she was chosen to study abroad at Gymnázium Olomouc-Hejčín in the Czech Republic. She was the founder of SPEED, an early Spanish language education program at local area elementary schools, as well as co- president of the Daviess County Student Y for two years. She  served as President of the International Court of Justice for the mock Kentucky United Nations Association conference during her senior year, and she placed fifth in the nation her sophomore year at the National Judicial Competition. Jasmyne was a 2016 Kentucky Governor's Scholar.
