Four McConnell Scholars complete UofL’s ‘Task Force Freshman’

(May 19, 2014) LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Freshman McConnell Scholars Jason Jewell, Advocate Scott, Landon Lauder and Aaron Vance completed the Student Government Association’s Executive Branch freshman mentoring program.

Freshman McConnell Scholars Jason Jewell, Landon Lauder, Advocate Scott, and Aaron Vance completed UofL’s Task Force Freshman (TFF), a year-long mentoring program in which students work directly with the Student Government Association’s Executive Branch.

In addition to working alongside their SGA mentors, Jewell, Scott, Lauder and Vance completed weekly office hours and attended leadership seminars and workshops.

Jewell, Lauder and Vance plan to continue their work with SGA during the 2014-2015 academic year. Jewell and Lauder will serve as Arts and Sciences Senators and Vance will serve as SGA Political Coordinator.
