The Office of Student Affairs (OSA) welcomes you to another safe and inclusive space at Louisville Law. We believe in transparency, inclusivity, academic excellence and wellness. We reflect on these unprecedented times and embrace the changes that allow us to think of innovative ways to engage our students.
This office is dedicated to providing support for personal, academic and professional goals. Our enthusiasm is for helping students develop a strong platform for student success and wellness. We offer support, organizational leadership opportunities and guidance while facilitating meaningful relationships among students, faculty and staff.
Some of our services include:
- Leadership and membership experiences in more than 30 student organizations and affiliations
- Resources that enhance personal, academic and professional success
- Guidance including options for challenging times
- Health and wellness programs
- Law School Commencement and Grad Week activities
- Educating students about all university and Brandeis School of Law policies including the Honor Code, civility and academic integrity, while making a commitment to enforce those policies
- The First Generation Peer Mentor Connection which is one component under the Brandeis Mentorship Program
- Assistance with special accommodations including counseling and mental health and overall well-being
- Event planning, facilitating teams and overall professional communications
- Mentor OSA student consultants and concierges, who serve the office as student leaders for daily activities and special events
- Manage the Student Board of Directors, comprised of student organization presidents, chairs, and editor-in-chiefs
- Manage the Student Affairs Task Force that assists with key office initiatives that enhance law school success
