Appalachian Law Caucus Brandeis School of Law Chapter (ALC)

At the Appalachian Law Caucus, we strive to highlight the specific obstacles facing the Appalachian region, both in and outside of Kentucky. We also look to emphasize that these same challenges are faced by underserved and marginalized communities all over. Recognizing this, we hope to not only foster open and frank conversations about these difficulties, but to work in advocacy on behalf of such places and people, be they from the Appalachian region or elsewhere. Ultimately, we seek to not only recognize our world as it is, but strive to remake the world as it should be, one defined by love and justice.
