About

Martin French is the temporary communications assistant for Brandeis School of Law. He is responsible for providing written communications for and about the School of Law and writing human interest stories about the Law School and its community.

Previously, French has taught literature and theatre at universities and community colleges in Ireland, Britain, and the US. Prior to this he also wrote policy documents for both the Irish and European Student Unions. His academic writing has chiefly focused on Bram Stoker and James Joyce. He was also a feature writer for Waterford United FC.

Born in Ireland, now based in New Albany, French has worked extensively in theatre in a number of countries, these days chiefly as a director, producer, and consultant. He has adapted a number of classic texts for contemporary audiences. He spends his spare time raising a child, writing tiny science fiction stories, and discussing art.
