Brittany Greenwell

Brittany GreenwellBrittany Greenwell is a member of the Class of 2021 at the University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law with aspirations to pursue a career as a criminal defense attorney upon graduation. She hopes to one day work for the Southern Poverty Law Center to combat human/civil rights violations in the South. Her interests in law and social justice are focused primarily on criminal justice reform and increasing the incorporation of public service and pro bono work into the practice of law. In addition to being an HRAP Fellow, Brittany currently holds the position of Public Service Chair on the Student Bar Association and is also Vice President of LAMBDA Law. She has experience working for the Department of Public Advocacy, as well as a local criminal defense attorney, and has volunteered with several organizations in the Louisville community throughout her time as an undergraduate and graduate at UofL. In her free time Brittany enjoys going to concerts and music festivals, trying new restaurants and coffee shops and going to flea markets and thrift stores.
