Biography

Regina Roebuck holds a PhD in Spanish Linguistics from Cornell University and an MA from Middlebury College. Her research interests include Second language teaching and learning, Vygotskyan psycholinguistics and Second language reading and writing.  Prior to becoming Associate Dean, she served as Department Chair for four years and as Director of Undergraduate Studies in Spanish for over 15 years.  In 2009 she was the recipient of the 2009 Provost's Award for Exemplary Advising and was recognized NACADA National Academic Advising Association. In 2022 she was honored by the College of Arts and Sciences as an outstanding faculty supervisor.  From 2006 to 2022, she co-directed and/or taught in the KIIS Spain I program.
