Eight states* are working together to help businesses reduce the use of toxic chemicals in products and to replace them with safer alternatives. The states are working on a guidance document that will help companies to look at their products, identify chemicals that have an impact on human health and the environment and replace them with chemicals that lead to safer products.
This process, called an alternatives assessment, is meant to help businesses of all sizes, from small companies to larger enterprises, identify the safest available materials for their products.
This is the first of two stakeholder webinars. This webinar to introduce you to a few of the initial modules regarding the assessment process:
