Program

This presentation illustrates the use of U.S. EPA’s online building energy performance rating system, Target Finder, which enables design teams to determine a target for annual energy use that corresponds to a user-selected, superior level of energy performance. The presentation also identifies actions at each stage of the design process that focus attention on energy and help to accomplish an integrated building design process.

The presentation also describes the connections between Target Finder, AIA’s 2010 goal, LEED-NC, LEED-EB, and U.S. EPA's rating system for existing buildings, Portfolio Manager.
