Making Saving Fun: Using School Energy Competitions to Drive Energy Savings
Join KPPC and KEEPS July 13 as we demonstrate the value of school district competitions as a means to drive energy management initiatives.
July 13, 2011
2:00 - 3:00 p.m. ET
This webinar will highlight the value of using school energy competitions as means to create successful energy reduction programs. Building on the great things Kentucky school districts have already been doing in regards to energy efficiency, district-wide competitions introduce another layer that can help achieve buy-in from stakeholders from across your district.
Our featured presenter will be Chris Curtis, Energy Manager for Larue, Hart, Green and Taylor county school districts as well as Elizabethtown Independent and Campbellsville Independent school districts. Mr. Curtis has facilitated several district-wide and school-based energy competitions, which have received positive response and results.
Additionally, KEEPS will highlight its Energy Report Card and Energy Checklist tools, which can be used to manage and compare school energy data for use in competition.
This webinar is part of a series of webinars that facilitate school districts' progress through the KEEPS Training System.
