Program

From April 30 to May 23, U.S. EPA is accepting applications to compete in the 2012 Energy Star National Building Competition. Back by popular demand, this year’s competition features new ways to participate, including monthly networking sessions and recognition for top water savers and any building that improves energy efficiency by 20 percent or more.

Once again, all organizations that apply and provide all required data for their nominated building(s) will be invited to compete and work off their energy waste with help from U.S. EPA’s Energy Star program. This year’s application process has changed, so don’t be left out.

Topics include:

  • How your organization can benefit from competing
  • The ground rules and what’s new for 2012
  • What data you’ll need and how to apply
  • Tips for identifying buildings to nominate
